She also has a deep love for learning and continuously seeks new knowledge through reading, studying, and personal experiences.

For Jaclyn, teaching is about more than just instruction—it’s about relationships. She finds inspiration in the connections she builds with her students and takes great pride in watching them grow in their language abilities. “What inspires me to teach is the relationships I build with my students and seeing them progress in skills that can change their lives,” she shares. “My students, their stories, their dedication to learning, and their desire to improve inspire me to be the best teacher I can be to help them in their journey. I love my students, and I love my job!”

Her passion for teaching and commitment to her students make Jaclyn Black an invaluable part of the Davis Adult Education team. Through her dedication, she is empowering students to overcome language barriers and create brighter futures for themselves and their families.
